Central Fill Supervisor - Pharmacy- Winnipeg, MB

The North West Company (NWC) is hiring a Central Fill Supervisor – Pharmacy for the Muskehki Pharmacy in Winnipeg, MB. In your role, you will be a valued member of a collaborative healthcare team, working to improve the health status of patients living in the surrounding areas.  Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you will responsible to Supervise Medical Supplies & Equipment (MSE)/ MDEL and Contract Sales.  


You will provide excellence in customer service working with our collaborative team, where patient-centered outcome-focused care is delivered according to the objectives, policies and standards set out by Muskehki/Valu-Lots.

Your Role:

    • Ensure all MSE orders to host pharmacies are completed and shipped as per the MSE SOP
    • Collaborating with host pharmacies and health providers, supervising MSE requests including ordering, track and trace of shipping, and communicating potential or confirmed shipping delay to all stakeholders.
    • Collaborating with host pharmacies to ensure all prior approvals are complete, accurate and current as per the MSE SOP.
    • Collaborating with pharmacy manager and other applicable stakeholders in updating MSE/MDEL/ Contract Sales SOP to determine, outline and apprise best practices annually or as determined by Muskehki Pharmacy Manager.
    • MSE placing and receiving orders.
    • MSE inventory adherence to most cost effective and/or patient preferred products whichever is best for the business.
    • MSE incident monitoring and reporting to the Muskehki Pharmacy Manage.
    • Helping train new staff on MSE/ MDEL/ Contract Sales SOP.
    • Understanding and maintaining the integrity of the workflow as per SOP.
    • Manage all MSE store connect tickets. 
    • Ordering/receiving, any other duties as directed by the Muskehki Pharmacy Manager
    • Responsible for adherence to all MDEL license requirements and advising on potential breaches, inadequacies and/ or risks without delay.
    • Support and collaborate with business partners or applicable NWC stakeholders and employees to improve B2B top line sales and operating margin.  
    • Work with vendors and stakeholders to identify the most appropriate products and competitive pricing to build a comprehensive electronic NWC product catalogue. 
 
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is considered an asset;
  • Experience with Medical Services & Equipment;
  • Experience with report generation; and able to prepare receipts, invoices, letters and memos, and general filling is considered an asset;
  • Experience with Pharmacy software programs; Kroll is considered an asset;
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated customer service experience;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities;
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills; and,
  • Excellent written skills and the ability to keep accurate documentation.
