Our pharmacies are typically located in rural, northern First Nations communities, requiring our pharmacists to relocate, under unique conditions. Accountabilities:
Ensure ongoing growth and management of the pharmacy business as it relates to prescriptions, over-the-counter (OTC), and professional services;
Development of Pharmacy Level Teams; Support the Pharmacist Manager in people development, training, and performance appraisals;
Manage stakeholder relationships within the communities; health centers and nursing stations
Conduct Annual Performance Appraisals of all Pharmacist Managers
Ensure adherence to college regulations;
Manage budgets; P&L’s
Ensure implementation and adherence to Pharmacy Operational Standards; and
Launch new Pharmacies in Canadian Sales and Operations (CSO) markets (acquisition and greenfield).
Identify, support and measure business building activities that generate new revenue channels with each pharmacy store
Support as a relief pharmacist as required dependent on business need.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pharmacy related management with a focus in retail operations;
Ability to improve work processes and teams;
Demonstrated business acumen;
Able to travel approximately 80 days per year;
Computer skills to produce and interpret reports, documents, and presentations; and
Advanced understanding of quality standards relative to operational improvement, planning, and business growth.
Pharmacy degree preferred
