Warehouse Personnel, Days – Banana Wrapper

Term:        6 Months

Shift:       Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday (6:00AM-2:30PM)

Your Role:
  • Accountable for winter wrap procedure of product, with an emphasis on our Banana process;
  • Perform Inbound Receiving Department functions, including unloading and loading trailers, strapping, and sorting cartons;
  • Process merchandise to proper locations for shipping;
  • Operate hand-held computers to fulfill orders;
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment; and
  • Receive product within the warehouse and restock.

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Previous warehouse experience including shipping and receiving is required;
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently to complete responsibilities and consistently meet production requirements;
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and be able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently;
  • Able to complete physically demanding tasks;
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Preferably experience with a forklift, high stacker, order picker, and electric pallet jack. Must have willingness to train to receive appropriate certification for required use of powered equipment; and
  • Must be able to work individually and as a team.

Location:  Winnipeg Logistics Service Centre, 100 Murray Park Road
