Your Role:
Provide assistance to the Supervisor, Inbound with all receiving functions at the Logistics Centre;
Coordinate the production flow by ensuring there is adequate employee coverage for all processes, may include coaching, task delegation and follow up;
Assist the Supervisor during shifts as needed and reports any issues;
Support team members to solve issues and create a cooperative working environment;
Ensure all employees are maintaining a safe work environment as per Health and Safety Legislation and Policies by reporting any violations and potential hazards; and
Ensure all paperwork and appropriate materials are ready to process.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain certification is required;
Experience with standard operating procedures for warehouse operations, and warehouse systems;
Must be capable of lifting 60 lbs. on a regular basis;
Previous experience leading and developing others; experience in delegating and task assignment;
Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to prioritize workloads to efficiently complete accountabilities in order to consistently meet production requirements;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience handling employee concerns in a professional and confidential manner;
Ability to work efficiently in a team or independently;
Demonstrated customer service skills;
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy; and
Available to work other shifts and hours for coverage during vacation or illness as required.
