Graphic Designer (Term -18 months)

In your role you support the conceptualization and design of customer-driven communications, internal/external marketing programs, and events in support of NWC initiatives through all communication channels.

Your Role:
  • Create design solutions for marketing communication print materials, digital (website, social, mobile), corporate communications, and branding materials;
  • Recommend visual and written communication requirements in support of selling events, store openings/renovations, sponsorships. Align with Procurement and Marketing calendars;
  • Adhere to company branding standards, ensuring effectiveness and consistency in all designs;
  • Participate in project planning events and reviews to understand creative design needs;
  • Work closely with Creative Team and Manager, Creative Services to ensure effective execution of all programs.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in computer-aided graphic design.
  • Post-secondary education in an advertising arts program or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with industry standards production software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • After Effects, Microsoft suite an asset.
  • Creative and strong typography and layout skills.
  • Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and a highly collaborative team player.
  • Well-developed project management skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
