Pricing Clerk

In your role as the Strategic Pricing Clerk at The North West Company (TNWC), you will be accountable for the import and maintenance of pricing related data within NWC data systems as prescribed by business stakeholders. Additionally, this role will carry out various pricing related data reviews to ensure that data standards are upheld within TNWC management systems.

Your Role:
  • Compile data to be used for pricing purposes as collected from various submissions from Category Management teams.
  • Review for data integrity concerns and address as required.
  • Load data to TNWC central data system.
  • Perform various data audits on defined schedule to address existing data deficiencies.
  • Execute reports, identify data issues, and make required corrections within central data system.
  • Consult with the Pricing Coordinator and/or Category Management teams where required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years office and/or data entry experience.
  • Previous retail experience considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel & Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work within strict timelines while managing multiple projects, tasks, and assignments.
  • Detail oriented while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service.
