Item File Maintenance Supervisor

In your role as Item File Maintenance Supervisor with The North West Company (TNWC), you will ensure the accurate and timely completion of item maintenance tasks. You will maintain a high level of master data quality by recommending and implementing new processes and improvements to forms and tasks, as well as monitoring, analyzing, and correcting any master data quality concerns.

Your Role:
  • Supervise the team of item file maintenance clerks and coordinators; ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Manage incoming workflow, evenly distribute workload, and prioritize to meet business needs.
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy by leading data management initiatives within the team.
  • Lead the deployment of new processes and forms; ensure timely adoption through follow-up and coaching.
  • Work with Category teams and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to new processes.
  • Advise business users on master data topics; resolve store tickets, data related issues and answer business questions.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on department KPI performance; ensure productivity and accuracy of team members, and ensure the team consistently meets department defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ office experience, and a minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of HQ/Retek systems would be considered an asset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing skills with the ability to reprioritize as priorities shift.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and assignments simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Detail conscious while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong sense of initiative, coupled with the ability to problem-solve.
