Your Role:
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address weaknesses in our IT infrastructure.
Analyze security data to identify patterns, trends, and potential threats, and provide insights and recommendations to the IT Security Manager.
Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and breaches in a timely and effective manner.
Review security tool configurations to ensure these tools are up-to-date and effectively configured.
Work with the security team to help implement and enforce compliance with security policies.
Monitor and audit systems and processes such as identity and access
Administer, monitor, and review security tools such as Qualys, LogRhythm, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Sophos, ProofPoint, Guardicore, etc.
Evaluate security products and help make decisions about the best tools or products to implement.
Generate regular security reports, including incident reports, compliance reports, and operational efficiency of security controls.
Desired Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
Minimum 3+ years of experience as an IT Security Analyst.
Be knowledgeable about the cybersecurity landscape and keeping up-to-date with the security industry.
Good report-writing skills, detail-oriented, with a commitment to security best practices.
Familiarity with incident response and crisis management procedures is a plus.
Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills with the ability to adhere to strict timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations.
